About Kitchen Math Calculators

Last updated June 9, 2026

Recipe math breaks at the edges — doubling a dough, converting an oven recipe for an air fryer, swapping the pan a cake was written for. The calculators on this site exist for those edges, with every conversion factor printed where you can read it.

In the drawer

The set so far: Cooking Conversion Calculator, Recipe Scaler, Air Fryer Converter, Pizza Dough Calculator, Cooking Time Calculator, and Baking Pan Size Converter — 6 in all.

Ratios and areas, not vibes

The pizza-dough calculator works in baker’s percentages, so hydration and salt stay proportional at any batch size. The pan converter compares actual surface areas instead of assuming “close enough.” The air-fryer converter states the temperature-and-time rule it applies rather than just emitting new numbers.

Kitchen estimates, kitchen limits

These are cooking estimates, not food-safety guidance — when in doubt about storage or doneness, follow USDA food-safety guidance.

Tell us when a conversion fails

A conversion that ruins a bake is worth an email: corrections@kitchenmathcalc.com. Reports get tested against the formula and fixed.
